Tea time fun

P has seen me make coasters and has also ‘helped me generously’ with it in the past. This time I thought we should make him one of his own. So we started by picking almost similar width craft sticks (ice cream sticks) and arranging them. This itself was an activity as it involved sorting, spotting similar looking sticks, gauging width and height and placing them side by side.

Once done, we spread glue on a card paper and starting sticking the sticks – my! wasn’t his fun! At one point there was more glue on P’s hand than the paper!

Once they were stuck nice and dry, P crayoned the sticks and voila! he had his own coaster.
